Rookie 7-8 Year Old DivisionThe Rookie Division is one of the most competitive and fun divisions at Okeeheelee. Teams are comprised of 6-8 8 year olds and the remaining roster is filled with 7 year olds. This division is also known as the "Coach Pitch" division, as the batters hit from a manual pitching maching operated by their own coach. The kids take what they learned in tee-ball and continue to improve their basic baseball skills while taking the next step in hitting, by hitting a moving ball. The improvements shown over the course of the season make it all worth while.
